Non Surgical Treatments

You can find information on all the non-surgical methods of plastic surgery offered, that can improve the texture of the skin, reduce the wrinkles and rejuvenate the face.

Injectable filler (dermal fillers, hyalouronic acid) is a soft tissue filler injected into the skin to help fill in facial wrinkles, restoring a smoother appearance. Most of these wrinkle fillers are temporary. Some people may need more than one injection to achieve the wrinkle-smoothing effect. Successful results depend on health of the skin, skill of the health care provider, type of filler used.

In cosmetic applications, botulinum toxin is considered safe and effective for reduction of facial wrinkles, especially in the uppermost third of the face. Injection of botox into the muscles under facial wrinkles causes relaxation of those muscles, resulting in the smoothing of the overlying skin. Smoothing of wrinkles is usually visible three days after treatment and is maximally visible two weeks following injection.

A surgical fat transfer is cosmetic surgery to move fat from one part of the body to another. It's also known as a 'fat graft' or 'lipomodelling'. The aim is to remove unwanted fat from one area (such as the tummy or thighs) and use it to smoothen or increase the size of another area (such as the breasts or face).
