"I underwent a mastopexy (breast uplift) with implants, performed by Dr. Georgiou. Due to a combination of weight loss and age, I developed sagging breasts, which proved at times to be both uncomfortable and embarrassing. Although it is still early days to see the final results, this will take I understand anything up to twelve months but already the results are amazing! The care and expertise that I have received so far from Dr. Georgiou have been second to none. He has answered all my questions promptly with knowledge, understanding and patience.I chose Dr. Georgiou, after extensive research of the clinics/surgeons that undertake this type of surgery, here in Cyprus. I was particularly concerned with the amount of expertise that the surgeon had whilst dealing with the stitching aspect of the surgery and thereby minimizing the inevitable scarring aspect. In my case, the surgery involved what is called an anchor lift (or inverted T) with the scar running around the circumference of the areola and down the center of each breast and into the breast crease. Dr. Georgiou was trained in Plastic Surgery at the Chaim Sheba Medical Centre, Israel. The department is one of the leading in the country, incorporating a Breast Reconstruction Unit, as a result of this, I felt that Dr. Georgiou was undoubtedly the best qualified to undertake my surgery and my confidence in him has been justified. I particularly wanted to deal directly with the surgeon, with all due respect, I didn't want, as offered by other clinics an "allied health professional" who would liaise between myself and the doctor explaining all the details /procedure to me. I have dealt and will continue to do so personally with Dr. Georgiou, in the future, as this is of the utmost importance to me. I would not hesitate to recommend Dr. Georgiou.
